Does your dog need Manners? Or, are you just looking for something fun to do with your four-legged friend? How about IDCT's Doggy Manners Class? In this class, you will learn to teach your dog the following skills:
The Eye Contact Game - so that your dog learns to look to you for information!
The Name Game - so that your dog not only knows his name, but responds to it no matter what!
Leave It - once you teach your dog this skill using The Walk Away Game, your dog will think "I don't have access to that, and I never will!"
Sit/Maintain - how would you like your dog to actually stay in that Sit position, instead of grabbing its goody and leaving? Once you teach your dog Sit/Maintain, he/she will think that sitting, and staying there until told otherwise, is the coolest thing to do on the planet! AND...we'll do the same thing with the Down cue!!
Coming When Called - so that your dog learns that coming to you is a wonderful thing to do!!
Walking on a Loose Lead - so that your dog learns exactly where you would like him or her to walk...without pulling!
And much more, such as tips on housebreaking, the importance of educating your dog, preventing, managing, and stopping problem behaviors, how dogs think and learn, STAY, and a few tricks to show your friends when they come over for
cookouts! :-)
The DOGGY MANNERS Class is open to any dog over 12 weeks of age at the start of the class. Fee for the 7- week session is $95.00. Minimum 3/maximum 5 dog/handler teams.
Shot records are due at the first class...you will attend this Orientation Class without your dog! Please contact IDCT for start dates and times...we look forward to meeting you!
